Loved shopping here while I was staying in Buffalo. Great selection of everything Asian. Produce options are great.

This is my new go-to grocery store for Asian foods. They have my favorite brand of katsu sauce that I haven't seen anywhere else in Buffalo so I'd come just for that, but there is so much more great stuff here too! The produce section looks fresh and has good quality veggies (and the largest carrots I've ever seen in my life). There are a ton of fun snacks, drinks, teas, spices, 50-lb bags of rice, and a section in the back with beautiful bowls and other dishes for very reasonable prices. Lots to see here! I enjoy cooking Japanese food and was happy to see that I can buy my ingredients in person - previously I'd had to order several things online because other stores here do not carry them. Aisles are tight so don't try to do a big shopping while in a hurry, since you might have to wait for people to move. Parking lot is huge so no worries there.

This was my 2nd time here and went much more smoothly than the first time. Sometimes when you walk in the smell of fish is so pungent that you can't enjoy your visit. This time was better. They have such a good selection of items. We were able to get food frozen food for our fish. The only thing I don't like about this place is that they have live frogs to buy and eat. I know some people do eat them but it does make me sad to see them in the tank like they are. The selection of fresh fish and other seafood is pretty unmatched and you'll find many items you can't find elsewhere.

What a great addition to the area! It truly has everything you could possibly imagine an Asian market would have. Unfortunately that included bullfrogs and turtles at the deli. I wasn't ready for that so just a heads up if you are going thinking it's gonna be a watered down version of what you would find in Japan. It's not. It's a bustling, sprawling supermarket plucked right out of a city in Asia with everything you would expect to see. If you don't know a ton about Asian food, I imagine it's really fun and maybe a little overwhelming here (in a good way). I found every single thing I ever tried and loved while in Asia and a bunch of things I am excited to try. Cucumber lays potato chips are not something I thought I would love but I will literally always have a bag. If you know Asian food and have been to an Asian grocer go in excited. If it's all new to you? Go in and just look for things that look like something you want to try. Also keep in mind likes and dislikes in general. If "red bean paste" sounds gross to you in dessert for (it is for me) you aren't going to magically like it and should pass up those products. Just go and have fun. At the least you can get something from the ramen noodle aisle. It's wegmans just with brighter lighting and in another language. The smell might catch you off guard but keep in mind there is a giant tank of reptiles and a giant tank of 5 pound frogs in there (in the back left at the sea food). I spent a couple hundred and it filled two carts. I have never in my life had two carts while shopping so that should say quite a bit

A shopping trip here is always an adventure. Atleast it is for us since so many of the packaging labels in the store are not in English. Their produce and seafood sections are huge, both offering many items not offered in regular grocery stores. On this trip, as always, we stocked up on items like seasonings and sauces. We also picked up a few items we haven't tried before. We saw Chinese sausage on the TV show Ready Jet Cook. He gives a lot of great meals to try! So dinner was a stir fry we made with Baby bok chop, Chinese sausage, dried shitake mushrooms, noodles, and a delicious sauce created with other items we purchased. 2024-48

I didn't know we had this gem in our city. I was so impressed with the fresh vegetables at a lower price, and I never knew there were so many different varieties of mushrooms, and the seafood was so fresh that some were alive, I was busy walking down every aisle looking at all the different types of food, my only suggestion is to add more English words to the descriptions so we will know what we are buying. I bought some Raman noodles with so many different packets and no directions in English that I threw it in the garbage. However, I will be going back to finish walking the aisles

I've been coming here for a while and there are a few things in particular that I really like. I'm a big fan of mushrooms and I like being able to pick up some of my favorites here (fresh and dried). I love being able to get bulk tofu here. The big packages are fantastic if this is a staple for you. I also really like sticky rice, so I get long grain sweet rice here in 5lbs bags (though the have up to 50lbs bags). I also love the bulk spice bags. It's way more affordable than little containers, especially if you use it a lot. Lastly, I can't forget to mention the ice cream. Always love ice cream and they have some good flavors. There's an absolute ton of other things here, but these are some of my staples. This location happens to be convenient for me, hence it's my go-to for Asian markets. Definitely worth checking out of you haven't. P.S. They have bathrooms as well.
